BIOGRAPHY
James Bedwell aka 'Jimmy' or 'the white David James' is Heathfields Number 1 Keeper. A perfectionist by nature, his passion lies in keeping clean sheets and generally upsetting strikers.

James is best known for his shot stopping capabilities, his ability to save penalties and even his goalscoring (with 4 goals in all competitions last year - surely a record).

With the agility of a cat, the gob of an opera singer and gloves which seem to have superglue permanently set to them he is as formidable as they come as the last line of defence.

Jimmy's distribution is outstanding, his command of the area impressive and he is not scared to throw himself at the feet of oncoming strikers where some keepers may shy away-even if there is a possibility he may come off worse.

James is a big game player and does not shy from the big occasion. He stands up and makes himself counted when his team need him, most notably the sunday shield final last season when he was awarded 'Man of the Match' for a heroic display.

James is a stereotypical keeper in that he is a bit crazy and a bit of a character but in all fairness you need that in a goalie. He has saved Heathfields blushes on many an occasion and is a reliable ever present member of the team.

Jimmy will always aim to better his game, keep more clean sheets and strive to pull off that sensational or sometimes impossible save!
