Heathfield Rangers Reserve side pulled out all the stops in 2008-2009 season, retaining the division 7 title and doing it in style, their also proved their worth in the final of the Plester Shield, undoubtly playing a top side The King David, Heathfield where the underdog, but yet we the only team to take the quality side to a draw in 90min, credit to the David who finished 3-1 winners, all in all it was a great final and a pleasure to play a top team.
After a great season heathfield's promotion to division 4 will hopefully offer us more of a challenge from division 7 and is welcomed knowing that we going to be up against some old rivals, Wayne Bates (Manager) has done a superb job with the ressies, put in mind it's his first ever managerial roll and will want to show that his team is with him when fighting for the title of division 4
